Cub Country
Last night Eddie and I went to SLC to see his buddy, Mike McCaleb, preform for the first time with a band he just joined, Cub Country. They're nice, kind of Alt Countryish. We enjoyed it lots. Plus, it was in a bar so it gave me the chance to show my ID. Thats right, I'm over 21. It still excites me to do that.
Mike use to be in The Sugarland Run with Eddie. He even borrowed Eddie's bass to try out for this band and he has just been using it ever since. So this is Eddie's cool "butterscotch" bass. I made him buy a matching guitar just to complete the set.
Here is the view we saw the whole night. The back of Mike. His shirt says "USA: try and break us." His company, Zuriick, designed this shirt. Get some Zuricks from urbanoutfitters.com. Right now the sell mens shoes. Or go to Zuriick's blog. But they are getting to be a pretty big brand. It seems that everything Mike touches turns to gold. So I thought maybe I should blog about seeing Cub Country and maybe my blog would blow up.
I guess he would always do this turning away from the audience ever since before Sugarland Run days.
But my dear husband snuck around to the other side to try to get a picture from the front. Thats how you know when you have a great husband (when he'll go around to the other side to try to get a front side picture for your blog).
Moral of the story is: I support Cub Country! And Zuriick too
