"The Boss"

I have got something for you! I found a great snow shovel, and if you are unlucky enough to live in a location with the white accumulations of freezing, I suggest SnoBoss by True Temper.

If you're in Provo, you would know that it hasn't snowed for some time. We bought this after the last snow and we've been expecting it to snow any day. Eddie bought it at Liquidation Team in Orem for about $15. Liquidation Team gets the returns to Costco, so they have all sorts of good stuff that people paid the full Costco price for and then decide they don't want it for whatever reason. So I woke up this morning and it had snowed. Then I went to floral design class and by the time I got home, about an hour later, most of it had already melt. But I wanted to try it anyway, so I tried it out on half melted snow. Also, we share a driveway with out neighbor, which happens to be my cousin, BISHOP Scott Slater, and his family, and the way our driveway is placed, the snow never melts all the way. I liken it to Mt. Timpanogas, its just we don't have to hike it. So we had a pretty thick layer of ice with a 1/2 inch or so of snow. The SnoBoss handled it quite well. You can put both hands on the handle and then put your foot on a spot near the head to get to the ice. And in has a sharp edge to pick at the ice. Oh it was a great show shovel experience. However, how could removing such little snow not to wonderful?

My Husband, the Director

Eddie was involved in the creation of two videos recently that are on YouTube so I thought I'd share them. For your viewing pleasure...

This one was for Zumba commercial for a zumba commercial competition. By the way, they won. They had 3 days to get the shoot together and film it and then edit it. It makes me wish I could try Zumba without having the teacher come ask me if I'm alright. I'm just a little bitter about when that happened at a 24 Hour aerobics class. I'm sure the instructor would be especially concerned about me at a class like this.

This one is a Lisa Loeb cover that a group of people in Provo put together. They are calling it "Reliving the 90's." Someone else edited it, Eddie just filmed. Drew Danbury is heading the project and coming up they will have a "Boom Boom Boom Boom" by Venga Boys cover. I've seen the un-edited film...it's funny.

love/hate, best/worst, good/bad

The other night when Eddie and I were getting ready for bed I was thinking about my favorites and least favorites of every day things. If you can't tell, I think about really deep things. I figured maybe we can get to know each other better.

SO

Favorite daily household chore: Vacuuming. K, maybe not daily, but still something you do lots.
Most hated daily household chore: Tie between checking the mail and hand washing pots and pans.

Favorite getting ready for bed duty: Taking my vitamins. I get the chewy adult ones from Costco and they taste like a drop of heaven.
Most hated getting ready for bed duty: Brushing my teeth. I always have Canker Sores and I always brush them accidentally and it makes me want to die. Either that or eat one of those sore throat lozenges that numb your whole face. Those are another recent guilty pleasure, right up there with gummy vitamins.

Favorite make-up application process: Foundation. It makes my skin feel good.
Most hated make-up application process: Mascara.

Favorite knitting "move:" Anything with a cable needle.
Most hated knitting "move:" Purling. Its not natural. I think sticking needles in yarn and making a design is supposed to be natural.

Favorite current school class: Floral Design. There is just so much to be done in class. I need to knit lots of projects and the high score on brick breaker is up there.
Most hated current school class: Badmitten. I struggle making direct contact with that shuttle cock.

Why don't you tell me your favorite/most hated breakfast food. Thanks.
